Always doing your best even if you dont like your art.

Participate meaning
Being involved, Taking part.

Value meaning
The importance of something

How can you participate in the world as an artist?
Trying new art even if they're not your best at first try.
Even if you dont do art letting your imagination run wild on a page.
Inspiring people/artist with your work

What value do people place on being an artist in New Zealand?
Because in New Zealand we publicly fund art galleries and people go there to appreciate the art.'
We put money towards art so that people have a chance to express their imagination and feelings.

100 word challenge, 2017

if i went to space and came back 65 years later new Zealand would be different the air would be different it would look different i would of for gotten what it looked like it would feel wearied to stand on ground with gravity there would be rubbish every wear you would int be able to rink from the taps because the water wouldn't be safe you wouldn't be able to swim in the river or lake because of  the rubbish would of made it gross there would be no grass because it would of died and no flowers or leaves because they would of died

On Wednesday the 25th of October Hornby high school year 8 went to quail island for a school trip it was part of our kete witch is kaitiakitanga it is linked to our kete because we were learning about the Habour that it sits on and how to make it better so that people can go and see the birds and looking after the island  that live there and the history. 

quail island is is a small island  within Lytteilton Habour  in  new Zealand witch was first discover in 1842 bye a man named 
Captain Mein Smith
