portion sizes

Meat: 3  to 6 servings a day
Vegetable 3 to 4 servings a day
Bread 6 to 8 servings a day
Dairy 2 to 3 servings a day

Meat  5-7 ounces of protein (meat, beans, and seafood) each day.
vegetable 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 cups of fruit and 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 cups of vegetables.
Bread 6-10 ounces of grain, 1/2 from whole grains.
Dairy   3 cups of nonfat or low-fat dairy foods.
No more than 5-8 teaspoons of oils, mostly from plants, fish, and nuts.
